How does it work?

Before a "light" snack, just take a couple of seconds to consult Diet Watch. Simply enter your gender and weight and select the snack you are craving. You'll instantly know how long you have to walk, run, cycle or swim to burn the many calories you're about to eat.

Diet Watch is easy to use. It only wants to help you stay healthy. Sometimes, we all need a little reminder to remain focused, because temptation is everywhere.

You may choose one or more items in the categories to the left by clicking on the Beverages and/or Foods buttons.

If you know the number of calories contained in a snack, click the Calories button.

Diet Watch will add up all the calories and tell you how much exercise is needed to burn the calories provided by the items selected.

Settings

The length of time needed to burn a certain amount of calories depends on your weight and sex.

Fill in the form bellow and click the Save button to start using the application. You can change this information later by clicking on the first button on the left.

Getting started

First enter your weight and select the correct units from the dropdown menu.

Then select your sex from the second dropdown menu.

Click the Save button to automatically access the Categories panel.

The Categories

First, make sure that the information written in the green stripe at the top of the screen is accurate. If it isn't, click it to make the necessary changes.

You can choose one or more food or beverage by clicking on the Food and Beverages categories shown in this panel. If you know the number of calories you are about to eat, you can click on the Calories category to enter it there.

In the lists of foods and beverages, you will be able to add items to a Favorites list. You will then access them easily by clicking the Favorites category.

When you have made your choices, click the Calculate button to add up all the calories and learn how long you will have to exercice to burn them.
